I love exploring Miami’s rooftops. My latest visit took me to Cebada Rooftop in Coral Gables. The amazing views, welcoming atmosphere, and delicious menu quickly made it a favorite.

It’s perfect for relaxing after work or finding a new weekend hangout. Cebada Rooftop is a spot you don’t want to miss.

I will now share more details about my experience there, and explain why this is one of the best rooftops in Miami.

Let’s Start with the View

Cebada Rooftop View

Cebada Rooftop in Coral Gables offers a stunning view that sets it apart from many other spots in Miami. Located on Giralda Avenue, it provides a unique vantage point to take in the cityscape. The view includes beautiful sunsets and the charming streets of Coral Gables, making it an ideal spot for both relaxation and socializing.

The atmosphere at Cebada is relaxed yet lively, perfect for enjoying a drink and the view. The Ramos family, who are behind this rooftop, have designed it to reflect their Cuban-American heritage, blending traditional elements with modern comforts.

For those who enjoy rooftop bars, Cebada can be compared to other popular Miami rooftops like Sugar at the East Hotel. While Sugar offers panoramic views of the city from the 40th floor, Cebada provides a more intimate and culturally rich experience with its dual-bar program and themed cocktails.

The Menu is Also Great

Charred Octopus with Pickled Celery Salad and Salsa Verde

When my friend and I visited Cebada Rooftop, we decided to try a bit of everything. We started with a couple of cocktails; I went for the “Rebujito,” which mixed Crema Sherry with mint tea and sparkling wine, while my friend chose the “Tinto de Verano,” a refreshing blend of Spanish white wine and lemon soda.

For our appetizers, we ordered the Pan Con Tomate. It came with smoked tomato, and black garlic aioli, and we added some local stracciatella. The flavors were perfectly balanced and made for a great start to our meal. We also tried the Marinated Olives with smoked almonds and guindilla peppers, which were a delightful snack to go with our drinks.

As mains, we decided on the Charred Octopus. It was served with yuca bravas, salsa verde, and a chorizo relish that complemented the dish beautifully. My friend couldn’t resist the Latin Burger, packed with manchego cheese, chorizo cantimpalo, sweet plantain, and sofrito ranch.

The variety on the menu is impressive, from wood-roasted shishito peppers to smoked chicken empanadas. Each dish offered something unique and was expertly prepared. For dessert, we shared the Bourbon Bread Pudding with Ice Cream, which was a perfect end to our meal.

What Sets Them Apart

Cebada Rooftop at the Night

As you already know, my mission is to explore and share the best rooftops in Miami. If you read some of my previous posts, you will see a lot of friendly places, along with those that are more elegant, or have better food. However, none of them gave me the same vibe of “Feeling like I am at Home” as this place.

The evening there with a friend was great, but what made me say this is that I went there tomorrow one more time during the day. The daily atmosphere is totally different from the evening. The food is the main reason.

The best thing I saw was that they were making fresh roasted pork on the roof. So, the chef will take it from the fire, and get a little piece of it to go directly into your sandwich or any other meal that includes roasted pork on a spit.

Days and nights look completely different like it’s not the same place. And that’s a good thing. If you want to enjoy some good food and just hang out with friends and family, daytime is perfect. On the other hand, evening can be fun for those who prefer loud music, great cocktails, and party vibes.

Cebada offers a unique experience that captures the essence of Miami’s rooftop scene. Don’t miss the chance to explore this gem for yourself.
